The Ledger Room
A twelve-desk office in a 1920s stone building, fitted without touching the original floor.
The original Minton floor was retained and protected. Everything new sits on it, not into it.
Acoustics are handled with linen-faced panels behind the plaster line, not with a suspended ceiling.
Cable is carried in a brass surface channel along the skirting so the walls stay unchased.

Protection
Original floor boarded and sealed before any trade entered.
Services
Brass channel set out, power positions confirmed with the tenant.
Plaster
Acoustic panels fixed, three coats of lime over.
Joinery
Desk runs fitted, levelled to the old floor's fall.
Handover
Floor protection lifted, tile condition photographed.
